Clavis International Primary School’s new Beau Champ Campus opened its doors in January 2025, marking the start of the new academic year. We are thrilled to expand and support the growing needs of students and their families living in this region of the island. The campus currently welcomes students in Pre-Reception (age three as of January 1), Reception (age four as of January 1), and Year 1 (age five as of January 1). Starting in January 2026, we will add Year 2, with additional year levels introduced annually.

The Beau Champ Campus is located within the developing Anahita Beau Champ smart city on the east coast of Mauritius. The school is in the charming setting of a sugar cane plantation surrounded by natural and historical features developed for aesthetic sustainability. You can find the location on Google Maps here.

Academic Levels and Class Sizes

Designed with growth in mind, the campus will expand each year by adding a new year level, starting with Year 2 in January 2026. To meet the needs of our growing community, we are also prepared to open an additional class at a year level should there be sufficient interest. At our Beau Champ campus, classes are designed to be cozy and supportive, allowing each child to receive more individual attention. In the first years, class sizes are slightly smaller as we establish our team of specialists and support staff. The maximum number of students is around 15 in Pre-Reception, 18 in Reception, and 22 in Year 1. Each class is led by a dedicated homeroom teacher, supported by a qualified teaching assistant, ensuring every child feels guided and cared for.

Parents' Testimonials

Find out why so many companies prefer us over others!

I am happy to share that Raphael has been very well at home in his move to Clavis Anahita. The environment gives is a great educational experience thanks to the awesome teachers with multiple inputs to open the children up to learning in a casual friendly way.I truly love the friendly catch up’s we have to follow up progress and monitoring where we need to be part of our role at home in support.Raphael has made great friends and is always on the front foot to arrive first in the morning in joy.Something he reluctantly wasn’t doing previously in the school he attended before. We are eager to see him growing up here and following the words of wisdom you proudly have on your wall at the school’s entrance gate.

Hello Miss Ketsia, first and foremost I will definitely talk about the learning equipment be it the library corner (story books), music room (musical instruments), physical activity equipment available for practical lessons, a big playground available for a conducive learning environment that contributes to the all-round development of a learner. To add, Clavis Beau Champ has a very welcoming staff and non staff too. Everyday the kids are welcomed with a big big smile as Seshapriya has always wanted to go to school even during school holidays. Hats off to all the teachers there doing a great job. According to the IB profile Seshapriya has developed many positive skills like being an inquirer, thinker, carer, communicator. The class teachers make her students feel proud when their drawings and works are displayed on the wall of the classroom. Last but not the least, the weekly readers have brought reading challenges where the kids feel more confident to read and even to act in front of an audience in a play.
