World Cup Celebrations

World Cup Celebrations

Over the past three weeks, both CIPS campuses have been buzzing with excitement as we celebrated the FIFA World Cup. The enthusiasm could be felt throughout the school, with students eagerly participating in the various activities and creating a vibrant atmosphere.

The football tournament provided many thrilling moments, with exciting matches played throughout the different stages of the competition. In addition, our Year Two students enjoyed a Penalty Shootout Competition. While our Pre-Reception to Year One learners took part in age-appropriate activities within their classrooms, allowing them to discover and celebrate this unique global sporting event.

Our staff members also embraced the World Cup spirit by participating in the Staff Penalty Shootout, adding to the sense of community and celebration across the school.

Below are some photos of the various winners, along with highlights from the celebrations. Throughout these events, students demonstrated excellent social and communication skills, teamwork, sportsmanship, and, above all, a strong sense of agency by taking ownership of their participation and decisions.
