Kids Athletics

The amazing Clavis Year 5 students delivered an outstanding performance at the regional Kids Athletics competition, finishing in 1st place by just a single point! 🏆

Their determination, teamwork, and energy shone across every event, including the jumping events, overhead throw, relay race, and the demanding 8-minute run.

A huge congratulations to Steven Lam, Gabriel Forget Tadebois, Kenji Lam, Andre Oxenham, Aaryan Gupta, Alina Durgadu, Viksha Soobah, Yael Constantin, Haajrah Peerbocus, and Wiaam Udhin for their fantastic effort and remarkable team spirit. You have made the school incredibly proud! 👏

Special thanks also go to the P.E. Department, who dedicated their break time to training and preparing the team under the supervision of Mr Aaron. Their hard work and commitment are clearly paying off, with the team now aiming to become National Champions! 💪

Another exciting highlight over the past two months was the Kids Athletics Competition, organised by the Ministry of Youth and Sports in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and the Mauritius Amateur Athletics Association (MAAA)

Congratulations to Gabriel, Kenji, Steven, André, Aayan, Wiiaam, Yaël, Viksha, Alina, and Haajrah for this outstanding achievement. A special well done also goes to Mr Aaron for his dedication, commitment, and unwavering support in preparing and coaching the students throughout the competition. Their hard work and perseverance are a true reflection of the sporting values we strive to instill at CIPS.
